early morning astrophotography

This was taken on Mustang Island, facing down the beach towards all the condominiums and J.P. Luby Surf Park. Taking a little access road 3 that leads right to the water and offers stable enough sand even a car can get through. Aug 26 2018. 2:54 am. The clouds were no where in sight. It was a bright full moon so it took me a while to adjust the ISO just the way I wanted. I enjoyed the challenge, testing and figuring it out is so relaxing to me. The beach was quite that night, not to many individuals seem to use this entrance especially at this time. It offers the solitude I crave, it’s far enough from light pollution yet easy to access. Me with my camera, the stars and the sound of the ocean waves. What’s more fulfilling than that? To almost feel like a whole person, the emptiness inside me is only bearable when I’m surrounded by nature. Especially by the ocean, the feeling of almost being a complete person is magnified. I imagine a well adjusted person might feel this way on a daily basis? Imagine that. I only get fleeting moments in the quiet night, alone out here capturing the night sky.

I have two versions of this, filter and non filter. The filter version gives a dreamlike quality. I’m sure you can pick out the filtered I did for fun, and the original.

early morning comes too soon
goodbye my waining lonely moon ðŸŒ™
